Invisible Drop Down Menu

    The Drop Down menu, and (right click menu) are INVISIBLE.
    This only happens in Outlook and IE.
    My MS word program is fine right now.
    Individual words show up when you move the mouse over them.
    How do I correct this?
    Running XP on a Gateway Laptop

    When did this start happening? Have you tried to reboot? If you wait long enough, do the menu items appear?
